I've read that the NOOK products may have a slight advantage for those with vision issues; other than that, I feel that one can't go wrong with either brand.

Thanks for letting me know! I have a Nook touch which I love, and my dd just won a free Nook from her college in a raffle. Wahooo! She's so excited. I also have a Kindle2 which is outdated...I must have a new one...don't you think? :)
