Did you ever try to watch a film adaptation, Susan?<br /><br />As I read and watched it became so apparent to me how hatred and love so greatly affect people. The story really spoke to me in that regard. If Heathcliff had not been treated with such disdain, such pure hatred, is it possible he'd have ended up being so led by revenge and pure evil?
